Belgrade airport Nikola Tesla (BEG) is located 14 km/9 Miles from the City. Belgrade airport has one terminal building which is divided into 2 terminals. The lowest level is for arrivals, the middle level is for check-in and airline offices, and the upper level is for departures.

Getting from Belgrade airport to city center by Taxi

Taxis wait upstairs, outside the check-in levels of Terminals 1 and 2. Using taxis to destinations outside Belgrade city is not recommended, as prices are often unreasonably high. All licensed taxi drivers have a badge, an oval blue license plate with a serial number, and the Belgrade Coat of Arms displayed on the roof.

Taxi price from the airport to the City centre is about €15, and you will have about 20 mins of driving. Beware of overcharging at this airport - some unregistered taxi drivers are real idiots! Belgrade Airport has a problem with the so-called "Taxi Mafia" unlicensed drivers and touts, who wait around the International Arrivals exit to solicit business of tourists going into the city centre. They typically charge about €25-50.

Getting from Belgrade airport to city center by public Bus

Public bus line 72 goes to Belgrade city center - Airport (outside arrivals T2) - Central Belgrade (Zeleni venac). Buses leave the airport every ~60 mins 05:20-24:00. Buses leave the city every ~60 mins 04:40-23:40. It takes about 30-40 mins to reach the city. Cost is about 1.5 EUR, ticket can be bought in bus. This is the easiest way to get to the city center.

Getting from Belgrade airport to city center by A1 shuttle Bus

Route: Airport - Fontana I Pariske Komune - Central Railway Station - Slavija square. Cost is about 3 EUR one way. You can pay the driver on board. This is a little better way to get to city center.

Getting from Belgrade airport to city center by Hotel shuttle Buses

Several Hotels run shuttle buses for guests, including: Hyatt Regency & Continental Hotel Beograd.
